On behalf of all the staff, governors, children and families of Woodfield, I warmly welcome you to our school.  Woodfield is a friendly and industrious school, where we place the highest priority on our children’s happiness, academic achievement and personal development. Our school motto of ‘Be Caring, Be Ready, Be Safe’ encapsulates our approach, and our school values are underpinned by the principles of Growth Mindset. We encourage a ‘can-do’ attitude towards all activities and aim to develop in our children a self-belief, self-reliance and positive approach towards all that they encounter. We believe that mistakes are learning opportunities and do not shy away from challenging ourselves and others, in order to develop the skills that are needed to support our children of today to be the citizens of tomorrow. A reminder that we will be holding a non-uniform day to support the NSPCC "Dress up for Digits" (number day) on Friday 2nd February. - please wear an item of number themed clothing/accessory in exchange for a donation to the NSPCC. Thank you.

Year 2 - FFF - Friday 19th January

A reminder that it is the Year 2 Fundraiser during Friday lunchtime which all classes will have the opportunity to visit.  If you wish your child to take part in the various stalls/activities please send a maximum of £2 (small change preferred).

School is open today (Tuesday 16th January)

Due to the snow, entrance to school will be via the main entrance today and the one-way system will not be in operation. Children should wear warm coats, hats, gloves and bring a change of socks. If children's outdoor shoes get wet, they will be able to change into their school pumps.

A reminder that it is Year 3 FFF during lunch on Friday 19th April.  Children are invited to bring a maximum of £2 (small change appreciated) to take part in the various stalls and activities which Year 3 have organised. Thank you for your support.

Scholastic Book Fair - Wednesday 10th April - Tuesday 16th April

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair here at school from Wednesday 10th April - Tuesday 16th April.

After school each afternoon, the trolleys and stalls will be open to everyone at the font of school near the  office from 3:30 - 4pm.

There is a really exciting range of books and stationery items for all ages at very reasonable prices.  Please see the flyer attached to get an early glimpse of some of the fantastic titles on offer.
