KS2  Children are familiar with Scratch and can use this programming software to practise their coding skills.

Hour of Code   

KS2 A web-based opportunity for children to experiment with the programming of popular themes/characters (e.g Frozen, Minecraft, Star Wars) in a step-by-step way.

Classroom Magazines  

KS2 Select ‘Grade 3-5’ for a range of cross-curricular texts which include supporting videos, linked learning activities and vocabulary support

 

And of course, continued regular reading, both aloud and silently, to improve fluency and comprehension is always one of the most powerful activities which can be done at home.
